Terms of Service
Definitions:
Client: An individual or entity with content who wishes to use Entora to help manage access and payment for that content.
Customer: An individual or entity who purchases access to content registered with Entora by a client.
By using Entora, you agree to the following terms:
1. Platform Fee
Entora charges a platform fee equal to 5% of the total amount paid by the customer for each transaction. This fee is automatically deducted from the payment before the payout is sent to the client.
2. Service
Entora is a SaaS platform, not a marketplace. Entora provides tools for clients to sell one-time access to digital resources hosted on third-party platforms. Entora does not host, store, or distribute content.
3. Payments
All transactions on Entora are one-time purchases, processed by Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. Entora does not store payment card details and does not hold customer funds. All sales are final, except as described in our Refund Policy.
- Payments, payouts, and refunds are handled directly by Stripe. Creators must register with Stripe and agree to their terms and conditions.
- Statement descriptors on customer bank statements will reflect the creator’s business, not Entora. Entora branding may not be used as a statement descriptor.
4. Compliance
Users must comply with Entora's policies, the rules of connected third-party platforms, and all applicable laws.
5. Creator Responsibility
- Creators are the Merchant of Record (MoR) for all sales and are solely responsible for the resources they sell.
- Creators are responsible for handling all disputes, chargebacks, and any associated fees.
- Creators are responsible for their own taxes and for ensuring compliance with all applicable tax laws.
- Creators are responsible for the legality of their content and for complying with all platform rules and legal requirements.
- Creators are responsible for processing refunds in accordance with their own policies and applicable law.
6. Limitation of Liability
Entora is provided "as is." We are not responsible for client content or outages or issues on third-party platforms.
7. Account Suspension and Termination
Entora reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate any account at any time, with or without notice, if we believe a user has violated these Terms, applicable laws, third-party platform rules, or Stripe's requirements, or if the user's activity poses legal, financial, or reputational risk to Entora.
We may also remove or disable access to any content or integrations associated with such accounts. Termination does not relieve creators of responsibility for chargebacks, refunds, fees, taxes, or other liabilities incurred prior to termination.
8. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of Entora constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
